We are seeking an intern for our Business Management & Family Office (BMFO) department working in the firm’s Nashville office. The BMFO Intern is provided with tools and training to gain professional skills and experience. The internship is structured as a learning experience that combines class theory with real-world applications.

The Summer Internship Program is an 8-week long program in-person, usually beginning early June and ending late July depending on your department. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support and assist the Managers and Seniors on assigned clients.  
  • Provide and organize financial information. 
  • Prepare monthly cash basis financial reports and/or cash flow reports.  
  • Maintain accounting records. 
  • Prepare bank reconciliations. 
  • Assist with pulling and preparing tax related documentation.
  • Credit card expense analysis for proper coding. 
  • Various administrative tasks, as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Be a junior or year prior to graduation pursuing a Business or Business Management degree. 
  • Have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Be detail oriented. 
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to multi-task and shift focus as needed
