Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working on an exciting and rare opportunity with an Advisory Firm in Little Rock to find a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager for their organization. They are open to either level depending on the candidate and years of experience that they bring to the table. 

Join one of Little Rock's most exciting new advisory firms, founded by a former partner of a prestigious CPA firm. This is not your standard public accounting role, this position will immerse you in advanced tax planning, complex returns, and creative strategic projects for Family Offices and the regions most affluent families and entrepreneurial individuals. Operate in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your expertise drives bespoke client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex federal, state, and multi-state income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and closely held businesses
  • Devise and implement innovative tax planning strategies tailored to client objectives, including wealth transfer, investment structuring, and philanthropic planning
  • Lead or participate in special projects for family offices, such as entity structuring, nontraditional investment review, and custom consulting assignments
  • Conduct detailed tax research and analysis to keep clients ahead of ever-changing tax laws and regulations
  • Provide mentorship to junior accountants and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Collaborate closely with firm leadership and clients, presenting technical tax concepts in a clear, client-friendly fashion
  • Engage directly in client meetings, special planning initiatives, and confidential business advisory situations
  • Act as a key resource for clients during tax audits or regulatory reviews

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification preferred (or significant progress toward CPA).
  • 4-8 years experience in tax in public accounting, ideally including high-net-worth individual and/or family office clients
  • Proven technical depth in individual, estate, trust, and closely held business taxation; experience navigating complex tax strategies
  • Strong client service orientation, relationship-building skills, and an execution-focused work style
  • Advanced proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate complex issues for sophisticated clients
