Our client is a leading family office , active as an investor and project developer, based in Ghent .
The company develops a variety of real estate projects, including residential, office, industrial, and mixed-use projects, throughout Belgium and Luxembourg .

THE FUNCTION
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and follow-up of complex real estate projects, often in the higher segments.
You will independently manage projects from design to completion, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
You will take the lead in directing the construction team and be present on-site as needed to ensure smooth execution.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Full coordination of projects (technical, administrative and financial) from preparation to realization.

Management of the entire project team: architects, design firms, contractors.

Management of planning, budget, quality and risks.

Organization and leadership of site meetings, presence on site is evident if necessary.

Contribute to technical decisions and optimizations.

Active role in the permit process and legal follow-up if necessary.

Representing the client in negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
THE DESIRED PROFILE
-
Driven and communicative Project Manager with at least 10 years of relevant experience , preferably gained with large developers or contractors in Belgium.

Bilingual NL/FR is a strong advantage.
- An engineering or architectural
degree is required (or equivalent experience).

Strong technical background and insight into various construction methods (logistics, residential, office, mixed-use), preferably also from the contractor side.

Familiar with both general contracting and split contracting .

Sufficient knowledge of the licensing legislation in at least one region is a plus.

A fair but firm negotiator , able to direct the project team in a goal-oriented manner.

Affinity for high-quality architecture and finishing – you have an eye for detail and quality.
