Senior IT Business Analyst - Banking

For one of our client in Monaco, an important Family Office in Monaco, we are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst. The person will be part of a team of 10 people providing a variety of IT services to the entire structure. The team members work closely with the front, middle and back office.

We absolutely need an experience in Business Analysis and Project Management in the Banking and Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT solutions for financial operations, including all asset classes trade flow processing, as well as middle and back-office traditional operations. The role will focus on translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring the smooth execution of projects in a dynamic, fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

What you’ll do as a Senior IT BA/ PM:

Ø Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• o Collaborate with senior management, investment team, accountants, and operations teams to understand business processes and identify IT requirements.
• o Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications.

o Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement within accounting, trade flow processing, and back-office operations.

Ø Project Management:

• o Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• o Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

o Mitigate project risks and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Ø Stakeholder Communication & Training:

• o Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• o Provide training and support to users on financial systems and technology solutions.

o Serve as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and system functionality.

Ø Continuous Improvement:

o Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have the following profile:

· Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Finance or business related.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst / Project Manager role, ideally within the financial industry, Asset Management or Family Office.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, Equity, FI, Derivatives trade flow processing, and middle and back-office operations

· Experience with financial systems (e.g., accounting software, trading platforms, portfolio management systems) and ERP system

• Fluent in English, French is a plus
