A leading investment and wealth management company is seeking a high-calibre Executive Family Officer
This is a senior strategic role responsible for overseeing the full family office function, including governance, wealth structuring and multi-generational planning for high-net-worth families.
This role is best suited to a senior professional (CA(SA), CFA, or CFP type profile) coming from:
• Private Banking
• Multi-Family Office
• Fiduciary / Trust Structures
• Wealth or Investment Management
Who can own the client relationship end-to-end and operate at a CEO advisory level.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as primary relationship manager for high-net-worth families and key stakeholders
• Oversee family governance structures including trusts, succession plans, and family constitutions
• Manage local and offshore entities ensuring full legal, tax, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate investment, banking, property, insurance, and estate structures
• Provide strategic input on wealth preservation and intergenerational transfer
• Deliver consolidated reporting across all family assets and structures
• Lead and mentor the family office support team
• Drive growth, innovation, and enhancement of family office services
KEY ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
✔ 7–10+ years’ experience in financial services
✔ Strong background in fiduciary, tax, private banking, or investment management
✔ Proven experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs)
✔ Experience managing complex local and offshore wealth structures (trusts, companies, SPVs)
✔ Exposure to multi-generational wealth planning and succession structures
✔ Strong governance and compliance experience (local and cross-border)
✔ Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
✔ Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
✔ High level of discretion, professionalism, and ethical conduct
QUALIFICATIONS
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce (ESSENTIAL)
✔ Postgraduate qualification (Wealth Management, Tax, MBA) – ADVANTAGEOUS
✔ Professional designations such as CA(SA), CFA, CFP – HIGHLY PREFERRED
