Prepare monthly management accounts and support month‑end reporting processes
Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities, including companies and trusts
Prepare year‑end Annual Financial Statements and consolidated reporting packs
Monitor and manage multi‑entity financial activity
Handle tax administration and submissions, and assist with income tax compliance
Liaise with external tax practitioners, auditors, accountants, and other advisors
Prepare audit files and support audit processes
Assist with B‑BBEE scorecard preparation and audit requirements
Support regulatory and compliance matters, including FICA, SEESA, POPIA, and StatSA
Perform monthly rental reviews, including all property‑related costs
Maintain lease agreements, title deed registers, and manage renewals
Manage insurance administration
Provide company secretarial support, including annual returns, resolutions, and statutory records
Manage and renew liquor licences across the portfolio
Provide financial administration support to associated operating companies
Assist the Family Office Financial Accountant with ad hoc financial tasks and projects
Skills & Experience:
Bookkeeping or accounting experience; family office experience preferred but not essential
Knowledge of accounting principles and tax
Proficient in accounting software and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High integrity, discretion, and reliability
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and solve problems proactively
Absolute commitment to confidentiality
Qualification:
Diploma/Degree/Bookkeeping Certificate
