Position Summary:

Our Family Office Services Department

This business line provides high-touch, white-glove services to ultra-high net worth families. Services range from accounting, bill pay, cash management, real estate management, private equity management, family governance and education, estate planning, risk management and private aircraft services.

Your Impact (Essential Duties):


Provide a variety of services to high-net-worth clients including cash management, real estate management, private equity management, family governance and education, philanthropy management, business
Manage the monthly close process and preparation of client’s financial statements for all client entities, including reconciliations and monthly journal entries for multiple entities

Record and review entries from brokerage statements and private equity investment statements

Ability to reconcile equity between related party ownership entities

Oversee accounts payable and payroll functions

Execute intercompany accounting entries and adjustments

Prepare quarterly reporting packages for clients

Collaborate with department leadership to provide advisory and financial consulting services to clients, leveraging industry experience and providing value

Foster and develop meaningful client relationships to ensure expectations are clearly defined and met

Communicate effectively with team members and provide support to less experienced staff to ensure client needs are met

Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned

Your Background:
3-5 years of experience in general accounting
CPA license or eligible (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Microsoft Excel
Sage Intacct experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and client interactions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Accurate mathematical and financial analysis skills
Ability to work independently while also coaching newer team members and seeking support from leadership as needed
Analytical thinking to identify and address inconsistencies in financial reporting
Demonstrated problem-solving skills where solutions are proactively proposed to relevant parties
Proactive approach to delivering a high-quality customer experience in a multi-client environment
Full-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines
