We are looking for a Director to join our Business Management and Family Office practice within the Advisory Department. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

  • Generating and identifying opportunities for new business; track record of networking, thought leadership, conferences, etc.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction and lead change efforts effectively. Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions and consulting with client personnel and client.
  • Negotiate the purchase, financing, and monitoring of major assets.
  • Multi-jurisdictional planning in accordance with SALT and international tax groups.
  • Ensure staffing & coverage needs are met as needed.
  • Identify and act as co-lead with Partner for client onboarding; function as Partner on certain accounts.
  • Recognized role as a mentor and leader within the group.
  • Final review bonus payrolls to officers from loan out entities.
  • Manage planning and execution of multiple engagement(s)/client(s).
  • Recognize income, gift, estate tax issues that arise in conjunction with clients’ matters.
  • Understand and manage firm risk on engagement(s) and proposals within budgetary and time constraints.
  • Investment analysis & life planning.

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience in the business management or family office industry; or 9-12 years of experience in the business management or family office industry & Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field)
  • Active CPA, EA, CFP or PFS preferred but not required
