The COO is a senior executive that supports the strategy and execution of the Wealth Management Advisory (WMA) and Family Office Solutions businesses, reporting to the Private Bank Vice Chair.  This individual will frequently interact with Merrill, Private Bank, GCIB and Global Markets Leadership as well as Enterprise senior management.  As such, this executive should have strong working knowledge of the Ultra High Net Worth product and solutions across Merrill and the Private Bank and provide meaningful insights on how to deliver them to our most strategic clients in GCIB and Global Markets.  The executive must also have a deep understanding of policies, procedures, and operations that impact our ability to drive responsible growth across these businesses. 

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of WMA and Family Office Solutions in strengthening enterprise partnerships across Merrill, The Private Bank, GCIB, and Global Markets.
  • Translate strategy into tactical actions required to drive responsible growth.
  • Drive the day-to-day operations required to deliver on the strategy.
  • Leverage and customize reporting and analytics to support the strategy.
  • Develop pitch materials and quarterly management reporting.

  • Ultra-High Net Worth experience as COO or advisor.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$159,500.00 - $300,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
