You’ll lead the Client Accounting and Tax Compliance team, overseeing the delivery of accounting, financial statements and tax compliance for trusts, companies and high-net-worth client structures. Working closely with relationship managers and internal stakeholders, you’ll drive operational excellence, mentor a talented team, improve efficiencies and act as the escalation point for complex accounting and client matters. A completed BCom Accounting degree, completed SAICA or SAIPA articles and professional membership are essential, together with eligibility as a Registered Tax Practitioner. You’ll bring 6-8 years’ accounting experience gained in financial services, fiduciary services, wealth management, family office or trust administration, including at least 3 years leading a team. Experience with IFRS for SMEs, CaseWare, Xero and Microsoft Office is required, while strong knowledge of trusts, tax compliance and financial reporting will ensure your success. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
