Our Client: Family Office for High-Net Worth Individual

Position Summary:
Provide management and oversight of High-Net-Worth Ownerβs interests, both financial and business related, in various areas finance, tax/estate planning, investment advisory, and legal/compliance matters. Manages a team of 3.
Requirements/Experience:
- Professional Designation (CPA and/or CFA);
- Degree in Business and/or Finance/Accounting, preferably an MBA;
- 10-20 years of experience in progressive Accounting, Finance and Investments experience;
- Family Office, Investments and/or Real Estate industry experience preferred;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and income tax practices as applied to Real Estate and Property Management;
- Budget preparation and reconciliation; Cash management and cash flow forecasting; financial and management report preparation;
- General Canadian corporate and tax knowledge (US tax experience is an asset);
- Proactive co-ordination of estate, insurance, and tax planning;
- Ability to properly and effectively deal with highly sensitive and confidential information;
- Strong practical general business sense (including experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting legal agreements)
- Experience in foreign currency purchasing/sales;
- Experience with investment advisory and governance (specifically mutual fund experience);
- Hard and committed worker;
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) across all levels internally and externally;
- Management experience preferred
