CPA Firm seeking a Tax Manager for its Family Office Group

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, direct a team members performing duties for the client.
  • Review income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, foundations, not-for-profit organizations.
  • Accounting for small businesses, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and period-end adjustments (cash/accrual)
  • Prepare or review and analyze financial statements (both cash and accrual basis)
  • Prepare or review and analyze business plans, forecasts, projections and budgets
  • Independently manage client relationships, including tax planning, estate planning, and risk management. Role includes extensive interaction with clients via phone, email, and meetings.
  • Complete special client projects of a complex nature.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • CPA
  • 5 years experience in a Family Office Group
  • Strong tax knowledge, an understanding of estate planning, and personal financial planning experience is a plus
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
