General Description


The UHNW Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring, developing, and retaining Ultra High Net Worth clients and their families across multiple generations. The role delivers holistic wealth management advice, investment solutions, and bespoke banking services while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory, risk, and conduct standards. The RM acts as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, family offices, senior executives, and prominent individuals across Asia-Pacific.

Main duties

  • Develops and maintains client relationships.
  • Originate new UHNW relationships, focusing on founders, single-family offices (SFOs), business owners, and sophisticated investors.
  • Responsible for achieving annual revenue targets and objectives.
  • Drive Net New Assets (NNA), revenue growth, and wallet share through strategic client planning.
  • Trusted advisor who succeeds in maintaining a group of dedicated clients.
  • Builds market share; able to enhance client asset size over time.
  • Competent in advising clients on investment products and services.
  • Actively involved in new business development; able to anticipate and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Keeps up to date with products and services; may give input for new product development.
  • Monitors tasks for quality assurance to meet client servicing needs.
  • Deliver comprehensive wealth management advice covering investments, lending, alternatives, and wealth planning.
  • Partner with Investment Counsellors, Product Specialists, and Wealth Planners to design bespoke solutions.
  • Facilitate multi-generational planning discussions, legacy structuring, and governance for family offices.
  • Deliver superior client experience with proactive portfolio reviews, market updates, and relationship touchpoints.
  • Work closely with product desks, the Investment Office, Wealth Planners, Credit, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Leverage the bank’s institutional and corporate banking capabilities to provide integrated solutions
  • AUM book size of minimum USD 300 to 500million
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing large, complex client relationships (clients with net worth of more than USD 100 miillion).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
  • Good university degree
  • Preferably completed professional qualifications: CACS Papers I and II
  • Driven and entrepreneurial
  • Good business acumen
  • Able to read, write and communicate fluently in both English and Chinese are strongly preferred as this role is required to deal with clients.
