Our client is a leading family office based in Monaco, renowned for its stability and long-standing presence in the Principality.
As part of the Investment Operations department, we are recruiting an experienced professional to join the team as a Senior Private Markets Middle Officer. The role involves overseeing and processing Private Equity, Private Credit, and other alternative investment activities, ensuring robust investment controls and accurate accounting oversight for both new and existing investments, while maintaining strong relationships with GPs, their fund administrators, and internal teams. The position reports to the Head of Investment Operations.

Key Responsibilities
Fund & Investment Operations
Perform all private market operational workflows including:
- Process and review subscription forms, capital calls and distributions, track unfunded commitments and respond to information requests throughout the Fund life cycle.
- Timely extraction and review of capital account statements produced by GPs.
- Accurate capture and review of fees charged and valuation changes with issues raised as appropriate.
- Ongoing monitoring of underlying fund exposures and GP reporting.
- Monitor fund performance metrics provided by our GPs (IRR, MOICs etc) and escalate issues to the investment team and management.
Organisational Development
- Share knowledge with the Investment Operations team and be a subject matter expert for private market fund administration.
- Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration across the investment team, finance, legal, and GPs.
- Be responsive to new fund launches, re ups, or strategy expansions.
Technology, Systems & Data Infrastructure
- Champion process automation and digital transformation.
- Embrace AI opportunities within the family office.
- Counterparty Relations
- Maintain operational relationships with GPs and their fund administrators.
Requirements
- Relevant accounting and investment background and qualifications.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Candidate should have 10-15 years working experience and have extensive knowledge of Private Equity and Private Credit funds.
- Proficiency in processing capital calls, distributions and subscription forms.
- Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills.
- High integrity and discretion—able to manage confidential information.
- Hands‑on and proactive problem‑solver.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Fast learner, able to adapt to new systems and environments.
- Fluent in English and French.
