Job Description
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis of listed equity investment opportunities across sectors, including detailed review of financial statements, business models, competitive positioning, and management quality.
- Build and maintain robust financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment theses to support portfolio construction and investment decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality research reports, investment notes, and recommendations for the Family Office's investment committee and key stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio holdings and track company-specific developments, industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and market events that may impact investment performance.
- Engage with company management teams, industry experts, brokers, and research providers to gather insights and strengthen investment conviction.
- Collaborate closely with senior members of the investment team to identify, evaluate, and execute high-conviction investment opportunities.
- Support the Family Office in assessing investment opportunities across other asset classes by conducting research, due diligence, and market analysis as required.
- Provide timely updates on portfolio companies and key market developments, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Maintain high standards of analytical rigor, governance, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
- Contribute to the long-term wealth creation and capital
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for someone who has:
- A strong background in equity research with 6-8 years of overall experience
- Solid knowledge of the financial services and investment/asset management sector.
- Confidence in using financial modelling tools and software.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- CA/CFA/MBA - either or is a must have.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presentations.
