ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Senior Associate in our Family Office at Anchin, you will play a key role in delivering sophisticated financial, tax, investment, and estate planning support to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. You will serve as a trusted resource to clients and internal teams, managing complex financial matters while helping coordinate the comprehensive services offered by the Family Office practice.
This position requires a strong understanding of wealth management, family office operations, taxation, financial reporting, and estate planning concepts. The Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work independently while managing multiple client engagements, collaborating closely with senior leadership, and supporting the development of junior team members to deliver exceptional client service and tailored solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day financial, administrative, and reporting needs.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, net worth statements, cash flow analyses, and other customized reporting to provide clients with meaningful insights into their financial position.
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of investment portfolios, including performance reporting, due diligence support, and implementation of investment-related recommendations.
- Support tax planning and compliance activities by gathering financial information, coordinating with tax professionals, and helping identify planning opportunities.
- Assist with estate planning and wealth transfer initiatives by organizing financial information and coordinating with legal advisors and other professionals.
- Manage client account administration, including account openings, maintenance, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external advisors, including attorneys, bankers, investment advisors, and insurance professionals, to help deliver comprehensive Family Office services.
- Research financial, tax, and wealth management topics and stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices affecting high-net-worth families.
- Support process improvement initiatives and leverage technology tools to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and the overall client experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Family Office services, wealth management, public accounting, financial planning, private client services, or a related field.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high level of client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with financial reporting or wealth management software.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment when handling sensitive client information.
Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $85,000 to $125,000 based on the individual’s experience level.
