Senior AML/KYC Officer – Fluent in German

Our client, a family office with a focus on real estate investments in Germany, is looking for a fluent German-speaking Compliance Administrator. This role based in Luxembourg is ideal for someone with experience in compliance, paralegal work, or banking processes who thrives in a dynamic, professional environment. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, managing sensitive documentation, and supporting investment activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage KYC and AML procedures for banks, counterparties, and service providers
• Complete and submit banking documentation (including for German retail banks)
• Oversee bank account management, including openings, updates, and compliance requests
• Handle and protect sensitive personal data (IDs, passports of beneficial owners)
• Support legal processes with paralegal tasks, including reviewing and preparing documentation
• Liaise with German banks, notaries, and external advisors on transactions
• Maintain accurate compliance records and registers in line with German regulations.

Your Profile

• Fluent in German language and English language (professional level)
• From 3 years’ experience in compliance, legal, or paralegal work, ideally within financial services or real estate
• Team-oriented, independent and consistent, with a high level of personal commitment
• Focused and structured in working style, able to set priorities and deliver results even under time pressure
• Solid understanding of KYC/AML regulations
• Familiarity with banking documentation and processes
• Highly detail-oriented, organised, and discreet when handling confidential information
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and advisors
• Proactive, professional, and able to work independently in a small team setting
