Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a growing Family Office in Little Rock to help them find a Senior Accountant for their organization. The position will report directly to the Controller but play an integral role for special projects with Owners and C-Suite.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting, monthly close activities, and preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple affiliated entities within the Family Office. This position will assist senior leadership by providing accurate information, maintaining organized records, and helping answer questions on financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management company and related entities.
Prepare and post journal entries, including coding and documentation for both cash and non cash transactions.
Review and process accounts payable runs and centralized payment requests, ensuring accurate coding and proper approvals.
Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile key general ledger accounts on a regular basis, researching and resolving differences.
Assist with intercompany reconciliations, allocations, and periodic settlements across multiple entities.
Support global and cross company entries and reconciliations, including payroll, benefits, and other allocations.
Help maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules and review capital expenditure transactions for accuracy in accordance with GAAP, book, and tax reporting requirements.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc management reports, including balance sheets, income statements, capital expenditure reports, profit and loss statements, and weekly cash reports.
Assist in the annual budgeting process by gathering data, preparing schedules, and performing basic variance analysis
Support the annual financial statement audit by preparing requested schedules, pulling documentation, and answering routine questions
Collaborate with the team on special projects and process improvements as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting
MBA / CPA highly preferred
3-5 years of experience, public accounting experience is a plus
Experience in Multi-Entity Businesses, Private Equity, or Family Office highly preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and multi‑entity consolidations
