About the Role

Are you a seasoned procurement specialist looking for an exciting opportunity with a stable, fast-growing company? If you’re passionate about making a difference, this is the role for you! As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for securing favorable contracts with vendors and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s procurement processes. You’ll work closely with management to understand business needs and provide strategic solutions, helping to drive the expansion of new clinic locations.

Your work will have a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of families and children. Additionally, you’ll manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with company policies, and handle tasks such as processing vendor master file requests in Coupa, setting up new vendors, preparing mass updates, and resolving invoice processing issues. Requirements

  • Establishes vendor life-cycle strategy to oversee planning, sourcing, and selection of new vendors
  • Understands the organization’s business objectives and how they translate into specific procurement needs
  • Conducts market research to identify potential suppliers that can provide goods or services that meet the organization’s needs by engaging with competing vendors to ensure pricing and services remain competitive 
  • Negotiates favorable procurement contracts with various business partners to enable strategic partnerships leveraging economies of scale as companies continue to grow
  • Supports a high level of change management projects that requires understanding of industry best practices, company growth projections and ensure business needs are met
  • Maintains strong relationships with suppliers to provide superior service and quality
  • Consults with internal customers including IT, Operations (Clinics) and Administrative teams to understand needs, plan accordingly to align spending is within Budget and deliverables are met
  • Performs two-way communications with suppliers to include monitoring and follow up on outstanding documentation
  • Tracks and documents delivery status of orders and supplies to ensure Customer acceptance prior to final payments
  • Maintains records of all purchase orders, invoices, payments, and other accounting documents related to procurement activities.
  • Supports Accounting and Accounts Payable team with payment schedules, contract renewal terms, credit card management, asset tracking and ability to leverage payment terms with vendors that are favorable to the company
  • Educates vendors about company guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth operation of the procurement process
  • Ensures compliance with state, federal, and international regulations governing procurement activities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or finance.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with procurement practices.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in supplier management, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads and deadlines.
