As the Private Family Office (PFO) Coordinator, you will be part of a learning culture that values quality and integrity, where you will be supported by Schneider Downs professionals and will work on multiple client accounts and a variety of client matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining regular communications with clients, their family members, and service providers to ensure that family-related needs are being met. You will also contribute to the client and relationship management reporting, various related projects, and initiatives both internally and client focused. This position requires strong multi-tasking skills to allow for the efficient and timely handling of client requests, cash accounts, and related treasury services. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, business acumen, discretion, and interpersonal skills to interact with high-net-worth individuals while being a dedicated team member.

Schneider Downs has embraced the hybrid work model, so this role will have flexibility working from home, as well as in the office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and preserve trusting client relationships
  • Provide concierge financial services and support, including but not limited to bill pay and treasury management services, document management, tax data collection, charitable donor due diligence and family gifting monitoring, emergency and travel coordination, assistance with trust administration and insurance maintenance
  • Establish internal and external relationships with professional service providers to facilitate the delivery of an integrated client plan
  • Research and resolve client inquiries and requests independently and efficiently
  • Manage confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain team members’ calendars and coordinate client meetings
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve the goals and objectives of the client and PFO group


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree; however, demonstrated related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of five years of professional working experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in a client support role
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online

Other:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent client-facing, interpersonal, organizational and client service delivery capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
  • Heightened critical thinking skills and innate curiosity to learn
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
