A Co-Founder of a company, who also has a family office, is looking for a Personal Chief of Staff to provide business and personal support and act as a bridge between the company and the family office. The office is located in River North, and the dress code is casual- jeans OK. The company has been in business for 5 years, the family office has been operating for 12 years. The Personal Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner—owning coordination, prioritization, and follow-through—so the Co-Founder can remain focused on high-leverage work. The position is employed by the company and works in close partnership with the family office to ensure personal and family logistics are handled with the same rigor and reliability as business operations. The role is in-office 5 days a week with occasional opportunities to work remotely when the principals travel.

About the Job:

¨ Own calendar management with an emphasis on protecting the Co-F0under’s time and focus

¨ Coordinate complex schedules that span professional, personal, and family obligations

¨ Serve as a trusted liaison between the Co-Founder, internal teams, external partners, and the family office

¨ Proactively resolve conflicts and logistical issues

¨ Coordinate personal logistics, including travel, household needs, and family scheduling

¨ Serve as a reliable point of execution during schedule disruptions (e.g., childcare coverage gaps, travel changes)

¨ Ensure seamless handoff and alignment between professional and personal priorities

¨ Act as an extension of the Co-Founder, anticipating needs and removing obstacles before they impact productivity

¨ Translate high-level objectives and into clear plans and executable actions

¨ Manage and triage incoming requests across business and personal domains

¨ Track commitments, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure consistent follow-through

¨ Assist with coordinating staff: house manager, driver and nanny

¨ Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

¨ Provide calm, clear communication in fast-moving or ambiguous situations

About You:

¨ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related support position

¨ Experience in entrepreneurial, founder-led, or family-office-adjacent environments preferred

¨ Proactive go-getter; no task is too big or too small

¨ Outstanding communication skills
