Our client is a single-family office investing across all asset classes globally. To support their growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Middle Officer to reinforce the team.
The Middle Officer will play a key operational support role, working closely with the Portfolio Managers and other internal stakeholders. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of investment operations, cash management, and reporting processes.
 
Your mission and contribution
Trade and Portfolio Operations:
- Reconcile trade executions and ensure accuracy across counterparties
 
- Control and validate bank charges and transactions fees
 
- Maintain a comprehensive record of intra-group cash movements
 
- Monitor and reconcile daily account cash movements
 
- Prepare and verify bank payment instructions
 
- Support the Portfolio Managers with ad hoc projects and investment-related tasks
 
Cash Management and Reporting:
- Collect and report on cash rates weeklyForecast and monitor liquidity position
 
- Contribute to financial and investment reporting processes, with the opportunity to take on greater reporting responsibilities over time.
 
Risk and Control:
- Support operational risk monitoring and internal control initiatives
 
- Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation of transactions
 
Compliance and Accounting Support:
- Assist with regulatory documentation and KYC requests from counterparties
 
- Liaise with external providers as needed
 
- Contribute to accounting processes (experience in accounting is a plus)
 
Requirements
- Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
 
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in a Middle Office, Family Office, Private Bank, or Wealth Management environment
 
- Technical skills: Strong Excel skills; proficiency with portfolio/accounting or reporting systems; IT-savvy mindset highly appreciated
 
- Language skills: Fluent in English (French is an asset)
 
- Other: Position based in Geneva; presence in the office required daily. The role can be 80% or full-time (100%)
