Who we are looking for:

You will work directly with other members of our team and clients, building a relationship as a trusted family office advisor and leader. You will collaborate daily, developing solutions to complex family office issues through research, use of cutting-edge technology, and consultation with other team members.
What the job entails:
- Oversee bill pay and wire transactions for clients
- Conduct a review of all client deliverables prepared by Staff and/or Senior Accountants, such as journal entries and financial statements
- Manage the completion of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
- Provide information to tax teams for tax return preparation
- Work closely with financial advisors, attorneys and other professionals to achieve clientsโ investment, financial, risk management, and real estate planning goals
- Oversee other daily tasks, such as but not limited to managing cash flow, complex travel arrangements, conducting insurance reviews, and coordinating jewelry and artwork management for clients
- Serve as engagement point-of-contact for most communications with clients
- Manage ad-hoc projects as needed
- Lead client team meetings and participate in internal management meetings
- Work closely with the engagement partner and staff to meet client expectations
- Manage client engagements for profitability and efficiency
- Develop and foster relationships with clients and third-party advisors
- Aid in the development of Interns, Staff, and Senior Accountants through career guidance, training, and the performance management processes
- Demonstrate interest in personal career growth and development
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, or related field, preferably in a family office setting
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; Masterโs degree preferred
- CPA designation preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Financial Statements and Accounting
- High level of accuracy and strong quantitative skills, and the highest level of ethics, honesty and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organization skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Exhibit professionalism and maintain client confidentiality
- Results-driven, self-starter who likes to take on new challenges
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team
Physical + Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
- A quiet, undisturbed working space to preserve and maintain client confidentiality
