About the Company
North Horizon Holdings Inc. is a Canadian family office with a global investment footprint. We are value-oriented investors across public markets, private equity, venture capital, and real estate. We are seeking a Junior Operations Analyst to join our Asset Management team. This role will focus on two key areas: Operational Support and Trading Backup.
What You Will Do
- Support daily operational tasks and processes.
- Assist with coordination between departments.
- Monitor workflows and internal processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and resolve issues while adapting to changing situations.
- Support the trading desk and serve as a backup to traders when required.
- Gain hands-on exposure to capital markets and various trading platforms.
What You Need to Be Successful Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of work experience in large corporates or the financial industry.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to dynamic situations.
Nice to Have:
- Buy-side experience.
- Knowledge of VBA or other automation tools.
- Hands-on trading experience with publicly traded securities.
- Fluency in additional languages (particularly Mandarin).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Power BI, or other industry-related software.
