About the role: The junior accountant Co-op will have opportunities to expose to full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst on recording business transactions and analyzing business performance.
   
What will you do
 
·        Assist with operation of finance and accounting functions, including journal entries, trial balances, and general ledgers
·        Engage in monthly and quarterly closing processes
·        Assist with tracking banking records and reconciliations
·        Assist with reviewing third-party’s books
·        Track rental income and cash receipts for both residential and commercial properties
·        Organize and archive supporting documents
·        Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
 
What you need to succeed
 
Must-haves
 
  • 3rd or 4th year student majoring in Accounting or any other related fields
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Advanced MS Office and excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to adapt to the rapidly changing business environment and work efficiently
