This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and adaptable HR professional who enjoys both strategic involvement and hands-on execution across a wide range of HR functions. The ideal candidate brings broad HR experience and excels in fast-paced, evolving environments that require adaptability and a proactive approach. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Support full-cycle recruitment process (background checks, offer management, interview scheduling)

·      Lead and innovate employee onboarding programs

·      Contribute to employee engagement initiatives

·      Assist with payroll processing and compliance

·      Maintain and update company org chart and HRIS

·      Track HR expenses; prepare and submit monthly expense reports

·      Composing and preparing confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation

·      Other Ad-hoc responsibilities 

Qualifications & Skills Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Able to commit a minimum 8-month Coop term.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office suite (especially Excel)


Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous coop/ intern experience in recruitment and payroll processing
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting
