About Our Client

Our client is a Leading family group based in Abu Dhabi - they're expanding their team and hiring a Head of Tax.

Job Description

Lead all aspects of the group's tax strategy, planning, compliance, and reporting across all jurisdictions.

Ensure timely and accurate tax filings for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.

Manage tax risk and maintain robust internal controls in line with global best practices and regulatory requirements.

Advise the business on the tax implications of commercial initiatives, M&A transactions, and cross-border operations.

Monitor and respond to changes in tax legislation, ensuring the business remains compliant and tax-efficient.

Lead transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and inter-company agreements in collaboration with finance and legal teams.

Serve as the key point of contact for external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.

Manage tax audits and controversies with a proactive, well-documented approach.

Partner with the CFO, finance, and legal teams on tax structuring, capital planning, and strategic projects.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance or Banking or related
• Professional Tax qualification is preferred
• Ideal candidate has experience dealing with international jurisdictions outside of the Middle East along with this region
