The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations in each jurisdiction. This role involves maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, identifying training needs, coordinating professional development opportunities, and managing a performance appraisal system. The Head of HR will also be involved in overseeing payroll processes, managing employee benefits programs, and acting as the primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

Candidates for the Head of HR position at the company should have a background in small firm financial services, with a preference for those who have experience in private family business. The role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to work with high-level stakeholders, and a commitment to improving HR processes and the overall HR offering. Essential skills include a strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the UK and overseas, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred, and a CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
