The family office of Griffin Brothers Human Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team. The analyst position will gain exposure to various aspects of the accounting and finance function that supports all Griffin Brothers Companies. A successful associate will grow with the organization with the ability to advance their career within our portfolio of companies. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will work closely with the entire shared services department and portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting, Modeling & Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and improve financial statement analytical workbooks to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with managers, executives, and business unit leaders to provide insights on financial performance.
  • KPI Development: Track and report key performance indicators to monitor the financial health and operational efficiency of various Griffin Brothers Companies. 
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support special projects, investment decisions, and other strategic initiatives with insightful and data-driven recommendations
  • Process Improvement: Support initiatives to streamline financial processes, month-end/year-end close, reporting tools, and data visualization dashboards
  • Accounting: Perform division-level accounting tasks, including processes and procedures associated with all financial statement line items. 
Requirements

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related field. Experience in professional services or trade-based industries (plumbing, electric, HVAC, foundation, etc.) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Well organized and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above prescribed responsibilities.
