Salary: 70,000-£100,000

Are you an exceptional Senior Family Lawyer with 6 years PQE, ready to take your expertise to the pinnacle of matrimonial law? Our client, a prestigious law firm renowned for its elite family law practice, is seeking a Senior Associate to lead their HNW/UHNW team.
The Opportunity
This is a transformative role for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to lead and shape high-stakes family law strategies. You'll manage the most complex, high-value cases, driving the firm's reputation for excellence in handling sophisticated matrimonial disputes for high-profile clients.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
Strategic Case Leadership
• Lead and manage the most complex HNW/UHNW financial remedy proceedings
• Develop strategic approaches for multi-jurisdictional divorce cases
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers in handling high-value family law matters
• Provide expert guidance on intricate asset division and wealth preservation
• Develop innovative legal strategies for complex family law challenges
High-Value Case Management
• Manage divorce cases involving £10m+ asset portfolios
• Handle sophisticated asset division including international business interests, trusts, and complex offshore holdings
• Negotiate high-stakes financial settlements with exceptional strategic insight • Prepare and present complex financial disclosure and case strategies
• Instruct and coordinate with leading QCs and financial experts
Team and Practice Development
• Lead team of junior solicitors specialising in HNW family law
• Develop practice group knowledge and expertise
• Contribute to firm's thought leadership in family law
• Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources
• Represent the firm at high-profile industry events
Client Relationship Mastery
• Provide strategic advice to ultra-high net worth individuals and families
• Manage expectations of high-profile clients with absolute discretion
• Collaborate with international wealth advisors, tax specialists, and family offices
• Deliver commercially astute advice balancing legal and reputational considerations
Professional Experience
• 6 years PQE in family law with extensive HNW/UHNW experience
• Proven track record of managing complex financial remedy cases (£10m+ asset base)
• Demonstrated success in high-stakes litigation and negotiation
• Strong court advocacy skills at all levels
• Experience in leadership and team management
• Current practising certificate and full right to work in the UK
Technical Expertise
• Advanced expertise in matrimonial finance law
• Comprehensive understanding of trust structures and international asset protection
• Expert knowledge of jurisdiction issues and cross-border family law
• Advanced financial analysis and business valuation skills
• Proven ability to develop innovative legal strategies
