We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Family and Philanthropy Advisor, ASP.
In this role you will:
- Report into the Regional Head of Family and Philanthropy Advisory in Asia Pacific to provide subject matter expertise in understand, assess and develop appropriate Family Office, Family Governance and/or Philanthropic solutions for Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients and prospects.
- Run internal UHNW segment trainings and coordinate with stakeholders to lead Family and/or Philanthropy Advisory business development activities for the assigned markets.
- Support UHNW client acquisition, growth of NNM, direct and indirect cross-sell revenues for GPB.
- Actively participate with UHNW segment management and GPB stakeholders on account planning, client events as SMEs and thought leadership content.
- Support in the development and refinement of Family and/or Philanthropy Advisory capabilities to generate new business.
- Participate in governmental feedback, industry consultations and liaisons
- Ensure alignment and adherence to risk frameworks.
- Work on stretch projects as assigned from time to time.
To be successful you will need:
- At least 7-10 years of relevant experience either in private professional practice and/or at financial institutions advising high and ultra-high net worth clients on Family and/or Philanthropy Advisory topics
- Seasoned knowledge of domestic and international client needs with direct experience to provide subject matter expertise in understand, assess and develop appropriate Family Office, Family Governance and/or Philanthropic solutions
- Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with the STEP, CPA, law qualification
- Sound analytical mind and strong self-motivator
- Collaborative team player who can work closely with different business partners and stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to develop strong and productive relationships with high and ultra-high net-worth clients.
- Highest levels of ethical standards and integrity
- Must have Chinese and English language fluency and experience in advising clients on Family and/or Philanthropy Advisory matters in Putonghua
