Experienced Staff Accountant, Family Office

As a Staff Accountant in our Family Office group, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and reporting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their related entities.

Family Office Accounting & Operations
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their related entities
- Maintain general ledgers across multiple business and investment entities
- Support monthly and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation
- Prepare reconciliations of cash and other balance sheet accounts
- Assist with accounting for investment activity and related reporting
Accounts Payable & Financial Administration
- Process vendor invoices and support approval and payment workflows
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
- Assist with tracking and recording investment-related transactions as needed
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across accounting systems
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Create and maintain clear documentation for accounting processes and assigned tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting processes, and operational efficiency
- Support implementation of process improvements and best practices across the team
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks Enterprise
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Strong technology mindset and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with family office or investment clients
- Experience with accounting for investments, including private equity or hedge funds
- Experience with investment reporting and reconciling investment accounts

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000-85,000*
*Salaries offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as the candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
