We are supporting a client in Verbier in their search for a Rota Companion for the Principal of a Single Family Office, with a daily rate on offer of €400-€800 per day.
 
Job description
 
In this role, you will serve as the carer and travel companion for an elderly Principal, suffering with dementia and support him in his daily life.
 
This role is a rota role and will be split with another Carer/Companion on a 10 days on/10 days off basis. Candidates must be willing to be employed on a self-employed basis. 
 
Main Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to the Principal, engaging in meaningful conversations, and offering a sense of security and comfort.
• Accompany the Principals on outings, appointments, and occasional trips. Assist with transportation, helping him in and out of vehicles, and ensuring he travels safely.
• Maintain a safe environment, and be prepared to respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain records of daily activities, appointments, and any significant changes in the Principal’s health or well-being.

Ideal Candidate:

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to provide physical assistance when necessary
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the well-being of the Principal.
• Previous experience in caregiving or eldercare is a plus.
• Willingness to travel with the client as needed.
• Holds an EU passport
• Native English speaking
• The candidate must be available to travel abroad with the Principal when required.
