The Premiere Group is a dynamic company with a diverse portfolio of businesses. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department and drive technological innovation across all of our companies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy while managing our daily operations. This is a full-time, onsite role in Columbia, MO. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives of all companies within our ecosystem.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the development, maintenance, and security of our entire technology infrastructure, including all hardware, software, and networks. Ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to support our growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of professional growth and development.
  • Hands-On Support: Leading initiatives, building and collaborating and implementing change; troubleshooting issues, handling escalations and being a fundamental working part of the day to day operations. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with all departments to identify their technology needs and provide effective solutions that enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions that improve our processes and support our business goals.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage all vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute an IT strategy.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented leader with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, and data management.
  • Experience managing Google workspace across multiple domains. 
  • Experience managing IT teams, budgets, and vendor relationships. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary to entities to onboard/manage tech/resolve issues/upgrades/integrations. 
  • Experience with Slack, Rippling, Quickbooks, ServiceAutopilot, Asana
  • Experience handling IT needs of multiple companies concurrently, including remote companies - across multiple domains. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage mixed Window/Mac environments
