WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a CTO/CAIO to design and command Elevation Capital’s AI-first transformation; building the frameworks, models, and data ecosystems that power the next generation of our global companies and UHNW family office. This leader will hire, manage, and build out the infrastructure, teams, and capabilities that enable intelligence to move through every layer of our organization. 

Your mission is to bring AI and automation directly into the operating core of our existing portfolio, transforming how our companies think, decide, and perform. You will reimagine legacy workflows, compress timelines, and unlock new profit pools through intelligent systems that execute with speed and precision.

Your mandate spans both the visionary and the practical:

• Systems Architecture: Build and secure the digital backbone of Elevation Capital. Ensure data integrity and network security across a global platform, integrating Microsoft Fabric, cloud systems, and real-time data pipes that connect every business and decision system.
• Intelligent Infrastructure: Design and deploy enterprise and mobile applications that bring automation, data visibility, and intelligent decision tools to daily operations — from leadership dashboards to on-the-ground execution.
• Business Transformation: Embed AI and automation across all portfolio companies to increase efficiency, precision, and performance. Lead business process automation (BPA) to replace manual workflows with scalable, intelligent systems.
• Education and Enablement: Build AI fluency and technical readiness across teams through training, workshops, and practical implementation, ensuring every business unit operates with intelligence by design.
• Human and Machine Synergy: Ensure technology enhances creativity, wellbeing, and performance — fostering a culture that values continuous learning, resilience, and responsible innovation.

As CTO/CAIO, you will work directly with the Founder and executive team to redefine how capital, intelligence, and humanity intersect. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage relationships with AI research labs and cloud partners, and establish a culture of experimentation and continuous evolution across every business we own.

Your leadership will extend beyond the technical. You will empower people at every level of the organization to work with intelligence, upskilling teams, embedding automation into workflows, and turning data into an extension of human creativity. You will transform AI from a tool into the operational DNA of Elevation Capital.

You will identify high value targets for automation, and lead by example when it comes to executing the automation of those workflows by building prototypes, writing code, testing solutions in relevant environments, and deploying them for production use. You lead from the front and can step in for the team to ensure the technical business transformation maintains momentum.

Big Picture Focused: You have a demonstrated history of architecting complex systems for midmarket and enterprise markets that were deployed in production and service real user populations. You have led teams using agile workflows to implement and deploy these systems.
Problem Solver: You navigate complex scenarios and devise innovative solutions, particularly in optimizing systems, enhancing security, and leveraging AI for operational excellence. This includes the hands-on implementation of technology solutions and the strategic development of IT frameworks that boost operational efficiency, minimize hiring needs through automation, and ensure the scalability of the infrastructure.

This includes managing relationships with a spectrum of vendors and service providers, steering cross-departmental technology projects, and ensuring that technology strategies are comprehensively communicated and understood across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and personally develop the initial prototype for Elevation Capital’s AI vision and framework, embedding intelligence and automation across the group and portfolio companies so every business, system, and decision operates with data-driven precision.
• Design, develop, and advance proprietary LLM and LAM models to drive scalability, accelerate performance, and create a continuously learning enterprise.
• Lead data intelligence architecture, integrating data lakehouse or similar data platform as the foundation for real-time data pipelines, analytics, and decision infrastructure that connect the entire organization.
• Oversee business process automation and enterprise systems, embedding AI into daily workflows to eliminate friction, reduce inefficiency, and elevate execution speed and accuracy.
• Ensure global information security and resilience, protecting both physical and digital environments through governance, network defense, and proactive red-teaming.
• Ownership of Microsoft Cloud administration and systems management, ensuring a unified, secure, and scalable digital environment for AI deployment, data continuity, and cross-company integration.
• Hire, manage, and scale multidisciplinary AI, Data, and Engineering teams across Elevation Capital; consult with portfolio companies to extend AI adoption and infrastructure development.
• Champion AI education and upskilling for all staff, ensuring organizational fluency in intelligent tools, automation systems, and data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and deploy emerging AI technologies and partnerships, maintaining Elevation’s leadership at the frontier of innovation.
• Oversee resource allocation, budgets, and ROI accountability for all AI and technology initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution and measurable impact.
• Continuously modernize enterprise architecture, replacing legacy workflows with secure, automated systems that enable global scalability.
• Lead intelligent transformation across CPG, hospitality, real estate, wellness, and technology — reengineering how we forecast, hire, market, manufacture, and operate.
• Build and maintain a unified intelligence network, connecting data, infrastructure, and automation to compound value creation across the UHNW family office and portfolio ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least 5+ years in a CTO, Head of AI, or equivalent senior role, demonstrating strategic and innovative leadership across software, data, and AI-driven organizations.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing an enterprise-wide technology and AI strategy that directly supports and scales with business objectives, with a proven ability to translate cutting-edge machine learning and automation capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with executive level reporting (e.g. CXO. founder, owner, board) but also hands on doer where required
• Significant experience hiring in multi business/cross function businesses.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI and machine learning productization, including expertise in LLMs, and agentic AI systems, with demonstrated success in leading teams that have deployed such systems at scale.
• 5+ years operating within fast-paced, founder-led or entrepreneur-driven environments, with a deep understanding of how to align visionary leadership with disciplined execution.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks efficiently, storing information in an organized manner, and communicating complex topics to executive-level stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scaling technology infrastructure, ensuring it supports business operations effectively, with a special emphasis on AI-driven solutions for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
• Aptitude for managing technology budgets and resources effectively
• Proficiency in managing complex technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, leveraging AI where appropriate.
• A track record of innovation and adaptability, showcasing the ability to stay ahead of emerging technologies and market changes, particularly in AI/ML domains.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of building, guiding, and inspiring a technology team towards achieving exceptional results and fostering an innovative culture.
• Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, with a focus on fostering collaborations that enhance the company’s technological capabilities and strategic objectives.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

COMPENSATION

This role offers an aggressive executive base salary and a performance-driven bonus structure tied directly to results. You’ll participate in meaningful equity ownership across Elevation Capital’s portfolio companies, with real wealth creation through exits and liquidity events.
