Job Description

AlTi is seeking a detailed-oriented Associate Client Accountant to join our Family Office Services (FOS) Team. Reporting to the Controller, the role is responsible for processing the day-to-day financial transactions for clients including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and bookkeeping activities. The Associate Client Accountant will partner with the Team’s Client Accountants to support multiple clients with changing needs and requirements. They must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Handle accounts payable for entities assigned
  • Manage vendor set up, and maintain up to date vendor information
  • Ensure invoices are entered and processed in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to department procedures
  • Request and document required approvals in a timely and professional manner for invoices, bills and other related financial items from client and client representatives
  • Monitor client cash balance and sufficiency for accounts payable
  • Resolve any discrepancies with vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of annual form 1099s
  • Monitor clients specific billing email addresses
  • Manage office mails distribution

Accounts Receivable

  • Reconcile billing amount and prepare invoices for clients’ customers
  • Track and record payments received
  • Research checks received for clients’ entities and identity accounts to deposit

Bookkeeping

  • Reconcile aggregated data to general ledgers, bank statements, credit cards and other accounts
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Actively meet processing and reporting deadlines
  • Respond to information requests, and assist with special client projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of accounts payable process, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
  • Strong attention to details and ability to self-review
  • Minimum of two years related experience. Experience with high-volume accounts payable processing experience preferred
  • Strong written/ verbal communication skills with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

With respect to positions in our Seattle Office, the expected base salary ranges from $60,000 - $75,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
