The Company is in search of a CFO to oversee the financial and investment operations of its family office. The successful candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting activities, including financial reporting, investment accounting, and tax coordination. This hands-on role demands a detail-oriented individual who can manage a diverse portfolio encompassing public and private investments, real estate, trusts, and international entities. Key responsibilities for the CFO include owning all accounting and financial reporting for family entities, tracking private investment activity, managing cash flow, and implementing a new financial reporting/accounting system. The CFO will also be involved in estate planning, charitable giving, and trust administration.

Applicants for the CFO position at the family office should have a minimum of 10 years' accounting experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a family office, investment firm, or fund administration environment. A CPA is preferred, and the role requires a candidate with strong technical accounting skills and a deep knowledge of investment accounting across various markets. Experience in reading and interpreting fund documents, as well as exposure to trust and estate structures, is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working in a lean team, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with general ledger/portfolio systems. International investment experience is a plus.
