ARCHBRIDGE FAMILY OFFICE is seeking an accounting professional to join our growing client Bill Payment team. This position involves bookkeeping, expense categorization and vendor management work for select clients enrolled in our bill payment service. The role may also include exposure to client cash flow statement preparation which entails heavy excel work. The bill pay specialist role is collaborative and includes regular interaction with client service teams and our Management team. The role can grow over time to include direct client contact responsibilities. This is an on-site position located in our St. Louis, Missouri office.

Requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required: business/accounting/finance emphasis preferred 
  • Experience with accounts payable, financial reporting and/or audits
  • Sharp attention to detail with pride in delivering accurate, timely work 
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to research and identify solutions
  • Able to multi-task and address competing priorities effectively, including handling interruptions and meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel abilities and familiarity with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and/or Quicken considered a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Paying bills for designated clients, including obtaining approvals, processing payments and reconciling account statements 
  • Investigating/questioning unusual account activity/bills when needed
  • Downloading and categorizing expense transactions for assigned clients 
  • Creating, updating and/or reviewing reports for client teams
  • Coordinating with outside vendors, contacts and other advisors on behalf of client teams
  • Preparing client cash flow projections and statements in collaboration with client service team members
  • Coordinating and organizing tax documents and related information
