Administrative Assistant - Family Office (New York City)
Compensation: $85,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (in-person, with some flexibility)
A New York City-based family office is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a small, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and writer, highly organized, and comfortable managing a wide range of administrative tasks in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
-Handle daily administrative duties including scanning, filing, sorting mail, and managing packages
-Greet guests, answer phones, and provide general office support
-Manage email correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail
-Book conference rooms, schedule meetings, and coordinate catering or food orders
-Run errands such as bank deposits and other office-related tasks
-Assist with bookkeeping support and data entry in QuickBooks
-Maintain and organize office supplies and ensure a smooth daily operation
-Collaborate closely with team members and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
-3-5 years of full-time administrative experience in a professional or family office environment
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
-Reliable, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Local to New York City with strong, verifiable references demonstrating stability and longevity in past roles
