Accounts Payable Accountant

A highly reputable family office is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to support multiple entities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing high-level accounting and administrative support while maintaining strict confidentiality. ***This is an in-office role with remote Fridays and some flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable for multiple entities, including onboarding vendors, coding invoices to GL, and routing for approvals
- Prepare wire transfers and transition vendors from check payments to ACH
- Monitor and respond to AP inbox inquiries, resolving discrepancies with vendors
- Review employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policy
- Support monthly closing by clearing open items before month-end cutoff
- Perform monthly reconciliations for health benefits and credit cards across multiple entities
- Manage vendor relationships, requests, and payments
- Organize and maintain electronic accounting documents and bank statements
- Assist with year-end 1099 reporting, including W-9 collection
- Any other accounting or administrative responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable or accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Experience in a high-net-worth family office or investment fund is a plus
- Strong Excel and accounting software/ERP skills (QuickBooks/Bill.com highly preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Positive, proactive attitude with a “can-do” mindset

Compensation & Benefits
$80,000-90,0000
